The more than 70 events and special programs of the Kentucky Derby Festival® would not be possible without generous help from our valued sponsors. From individual donors and small businesses to local companies and national corporations, the Derby Festival sponsorship family is more than 325 strong.

As a private, not-for-profit organization, the Derby Festival must raise the funds each year to put on the many events of the premiere civic celebration.
The current Festival budget is $5 million. The Festival starts at $0 each year and begins soliciting corporate donors to underwrite each event. The corporate sponsors provide the foundation of the overall budget that is complimented by Pegasus Pin proceeds and vending.
